It's funny. I'm selling my MpcX at 5pm and today is the day they release this. lol.
I'm done with the new Mpc's until they do a serious update.
I will be using the money to otherwise buy a Oberheim Matrix 6, an Old Mpc to pair up with my other older samplers, and some other day-to-day real life things I could use.
This whole activation thing, all these new plugins with very little focus on the midi or the sampling...
Then they bring out more hardware and to be honest, the new hardware look good on the outside, but I guess it's just not for me for now. If I didn't get offered an actual decent price for my MpcX I would keep it, but I've had it since a year after they released it and its good... Don't me wrong. Like I admit I'm on an old update, but I can't see it doing ALL that much for me in terms of sound. I got multiples computers, S2400, Sp404, other Akai Rack Samplers like S900 and such, so it's not a huge loss for me.
Now that the MpcX is discontinued(There's no MPCXSE or X at my local store online or off) I think maybe they could be trying to make a new MPCX hardware, but do I care a ton? Naah....
I'll be keeping an eye out on this forum though time to time to see what they do with it, and what bugs come out.
