In the 3.4 Beta I can send MMC messages from a Arturia Beatstep to start and stop the MPC sequencer but can't reset the sequence. Am I missing something?
I cannot start and stop the MPC sequencer from a Digitakt 2 unless the MPC is receiving clock, which I don't want.

If by "reset the sequence" you mean returning to the start, you could try sending the Locate message (F0 7F 00 06 44 06 01 00 00 00 00 F7).

That's a good point, but I'm not ready to dive into beta test yet...My actual workflow is fine with the MPC 2 and I don't need those new stuff on MPC 3 so it's a learning curve just to get MMC working...

I guess you speak about the midi out sync, perhaps 2.14 or 2.15 can send MMC, I don't know I didn't test this, anyway this post is about the MMC receive...
Some peoples here know exactly how to setup this MMC thing and used this for live set, it simply doesn't work since 2.14, so it's a 'MMC receive' OR 'soft clipper' deal...Damn, I think I want both
Myself I've no more MMC receive in 2.14 (and it was working perfectly in 2.13), Of course I've done a prefs reset and a full double check about all those midi settings...no way...
So really if I don't understand you and if you have something, mate, bring it to us...
