In any DAW, synchronizing loops with different time signatures this way would be implemented as a polymeter.

This probably refers to polyrhythm, but since the length of a beat doesn’t change between time signatures, it’s not possible to automatically align 3/4 or 5/4 to match a 4/4 measure. You would need to manually divide the measure into 3 or 5 parts and place the notes accordingly.
