Got a TR-8 and Elektron a4 that have a xox step sequencer.

Yes, you could use the TR-8 to midi out to the MPC. But such a drag and slower workflow.

I see. Maybe they will update the step sequence.

I'm so underwhelmed, I don't even think of it as an upgrade. The extra buttons are a good look and placed well, but not a reason to change out anything existing.

What I care about more is MPC X mk2, I finally made the switch and moved my Push2 to the side and made the Live the center piece of my studio *slow clap*, I'd prefer to keep my Live mobile though and was thinking of copping an X to replace it in the studio - but this makes me feel like there is an X on the horizon.

ANY YOUTUBER who make MPC VIDEOS. If you see any content on here and you use it in your VIDEOS. Make sure you credit the USER NAME and the website, you're getting your content from. Personally, I'm tired of people using content they read here and not crediting people.

Would definitely get a Mpc XII, what else can they add to it if they keep the same soc? I bought a REN recently and man it’s a please having all the face buttons.

I put the live in a travel bag and the touch in the closet.

I’m surprised there isn’t a Studio MK3 with an audio interface. The Mk2 is $299 everywhere and does not work on MacOS Catalina.

July would make the MPC X, three years old. It needs internal upgrades, More I/O, Dante, MIDI 3.0 with MPE support, and definitely software bugs fixes. I would love for them to bring the Power brick back inside.

To me the MPC ONE is the Studio MK3 with an audio interface and less buttons. So having the REN, do you miss the Touch Screen, Battery and lack of standalone?

The Live II talk has already fizzled, like most internal speakers do over time :)

Live & X iii will be dope:

-built in multi midi
-built in disk streaming
-built in pad loop hold
-usb3, usb2 & 1 retro-fit slots for nostalgia
-they got rid of the SPKR & instead put in TWO SPKRS & a SBWFR
-no I/O, just a lightning 3 connector
-they got rid of the battery for charles and tethered it to a computer for unlimited ram & storage & vst3 compatibility

Ok, I'm going stir crazy
