I think it's pretty clear who will get the stock first in the US - basically any store that has made a bespoke promo video with the Live, i.e. like Sweetwater - obviously these are the direct 'partners' as they'll be the ones shifting huge amounts of stock.

Not "before"... this place is in CA. No doubt, CA will see them a week before the NE US. And it's a question of who updates their inventory online. That's all. We could see another 2-3 sites update before the day ends.

As I said, I don't believe it... I merely would like to believe it.

I see their MPC X has suddenly gone from 'In Stock' to 'Out of Stock' - so I guess this means this Michael guy even had some MPC X units, but they've all magically sold in the past 3 minutes?

Its March madness at some retailers. agiprodj.com got a 20% off thing but can't put in the code until you commit to buy.

Other than that, the X is going under a minor overhaul so I doubt they get units by April. The holdup is that.

What's funny is how retail establishments run businesses like the customers are homunculi, and they often can't be bothered to accommodate a potential customer w/ a simple request; as if there weren't 100 places ready to grab away the customer. That's how businesses fall down.

I move product for large commercial construction jobs, all over the NY / NJ / PA region. And guess what? If I have a PO for $200k large, from Morgan Stanley, and they want pictures of the material, in advance of a deposit payment? I'm in the warehouse 5 minutes later, labeling and photographing the product.

THAT'S how you do business.

You wouldn't walk out to the warehouse for a possible $1,200 to $2,200 sale? Then you wouldn't do very well in that business. I'll bet you the owner would tell you to do it, and even do it himself.

But I agree. That's why I said retail places are stupid.

Anyway, one good thing is that Goodliffe suggests that "late April" is worst-case scenario.

I can live w/ that. Many were speculating Summer or later.

I think Michael wanted me to pre order. I definitely wouldn't after he wouldn't give me a discount!
