MPC-Tutor wrote:Any delays down to hardware issues are definitely worth the wait. Software bugs are easily updated, hardware problems not so. Anyone with the original run of MPC1000's will know what I mean.

And that's exactly why I will be waiting for all these enthusiastic buyers who will test the X for me before I make sure it's solid and worthy of my money :smoker:

From my observation you don't like Akai as a company? lol

Oh you mean when these Nukai clowns botched the pad design and asked their customers to pay for the fix?

Priceless!

:Sigh:

I was set on the Live, but watching the videos of showing both machines at the same time, the X does have more control with all its buttons and knobs, plus the touchscreen?! Its insane for real, I won't lie. But I gotta see it loose on the public first before I toss that kinda dough, get real hands on opinions.

I am planning to build a little work-desk, its gonna be a masterpiece

I heard that. Yeah as buttin wise the X has cintrol but l have seen sime vids and the Live has control also. For ME l really don't need all thise knobs. I need those pads and sequener. I would say if a dude is live doung EDM the X would be better. But in the studio for what lm doing the Live is enough and more powerful than any standalone on the market. Its 10 times better than the 2000XL and l can rock that. So imagine what can do with that Live.
I bet you dudes will rock that Live at EDM concerts.

Both machines are dope chose your weapon of choice and rock.

I just got out the studio with one of my artist and we blazed. I can't wait to get that Live. Right now lm making drums for it. I just stbbled upon making this dope kick and hard poppin snare. Oh my goodness its about to get real!

I dont like the shiny plastick on the X think they should give it a matt finish

also not sure how the having the dedicated controls of an old mpc along with the touch screen goes, it may be a source of confusion or it may just expand the choice.
