Do you have one? Anyone here who has one and is using it with an MPC? How is it?

i pair a MPC4k with a Roland TB03 (i even power it through usb from the MPC)
dope, maybe not earth rattling, but def. tecno/acid + impossible to play or program baselines through the 'original' program mode
just record (MIDI) them into the MPC which adds another level or 2
-can't wait to pair it with the X CV outs so i can trig it's sequencer for non-linear sequences-

I wonder what the heck the effects sound like. Reverbs, delay, plate, halls etc. They keep showing that one finger filter thingy. Ok we get it. Its dope. We wanna hear the effects on the X abd Live.

They will be the same as the effects in the current mpc software. Which are nothing special.

Been using it with a DAW as well as Octatrack, and it sure is heavy! Sounds very "organic".
Was having a sesh last night actually.

Man these new MPC's got me really hyped up to start making music again. I haven't touched my 2500 (and haven't made any music in general) for 5+ years now. I am a lot more hyped now than I was when I started.

If the X is indeed a beast, I'll be getting one and also I want to dive into the analogue synth world. That minitaur posted above got me hooked. Or something like a Bass Station 2/ microbrute.

All these machines are above my pay grade but what the heck, we only live once. And I can't use a f***ing mouse and keyboard to make music.

This is what me and my friend always say. Both have spent on gear, and both have friends that sometimes wonder how much we've spent and why. Always gotta say, well, what should you spend it on, then? Save it?
Anything that your promotes your enjoyment on this earth is a good investment.

I agree, 100%.

I gave your track a listen from my phone. Obviously I can't tell much but man this is hella dope. Not only the crazy fat bass but your track in general. I wanna make music like this too.

Gonna give it a proper listen with my monitors later.

Sweetwater have now pushed back the shipping date for the X until June.

I guess the beta testers must be finding a few bugs with the software as others have said the hardware is ready to ship.

Cheers

Actually they re-engineering the hardware from brighter touchscreen to OLEDs for Qlinks of the X.
