It’s worth it to check out protools, even other daws that might be better for your workflow. Reaper might even still be free and I know you can use all the inputs and outputs on there.

I would also recommend the newest boss pedals the delay, chorus and reverb. I got the chorus and it’s quality blew me away. A lot of retro chorus emulations including a dimension d.

I’ve been lusting after the reverb unit as it has the tape echo emulations and delay and reverb on each effect. Might be the biggest bang for your buck. Plus they are battery operated. Which is why I keep the chorus around when I go mobile with the live.

Might even find some eventide pedals in that range too. Some killer reverb and pitch shifting on those units.

I'm #1. the ITB environment is great for me and my flow.
1. I love the fact of having zero noise floor. It's easier to mix in the stereo field and you hear every nuance when panning, EQing, leveling etc.
2. ITB keeps me on target where l don't need a big setup the things l need are in the computer.
3. LESS CABLES! I love the look of being 90% cabless.

I’m trying to have a hybrid. Love hardware to an almost sickening degree but see the potential with software. I’m trying to find the best balance for me between the two Danoc.

you don’t wanna see my snake pit i’m not a fan of DAW’s lm more like a plug a turntable in the mpc and sample and do what i imagine with the samples. i try to get volume levels equal get it sounding decent and push it out on soundcloud. i’m just a old ass dude that enjoys hands on the mpc. i’m just now diving into actually trying to learn to mix and eq i want to learn more about vst’s and all that DAW jazz to get the best out of my beats. i always thought just record somewhat loud so you can hear it good them crank up the monitors. just old dog stuck in his ways.
