u just lack comprehension of what is being said.

ur arguments are indicative of ur underlying mindset, hence ur thoughts are transparent.

so when i elaborate on ur thought process, I am not saying thats what u said, I am detailing ur thought process from which ur statements arise.

i am then addressing ur thought process.

not claiming to be a mind reader; but when u make certain statements I can see the thinking behind ur rhetoric, so I like to address the underlying rhetoric that is the foundation of ur statements.

That’s not what you did, jpeg - and everyone can read it for themselves. You flat out lied, you put words into my mouth, and you got called out on it. It reflects on your character and isn’t a great look - but it seems to be par for the course with you. You need to do better.

I'd recommend stop looking towards social media and youtube for opinions and form your own
Then based his opinion on using it for only 1 record. Dude will make up shit, twist your words, cherry pick parts of your reply to respond to & take it out of context, ignore the parts that prove him wrong, make up weird theories, put words in people mouths, & won't admit when when wrong, nor apologize. All that to me = a toxic SSA dude.

a wiseman learns from the mistakes of others;

obviously we all use youtube for gear reviews to understand workflow and hear how something sounds; to enable us to gauge if a piece of gear would fit our liking.

i was using youtube reviews to evaluate the sound of stems; and as a result i purchased stems and will continue to try it; there are workflow issues currently but i have workarounds, but the sound is good but not as great as advertised.

considering stems came out next week obviously it very early days; hence have not tried it externsively and am sure with future updates aspect it will improve.

but u have vendetta against my posts; so u always seek to chime in and offer ur negative viewpoints and reactions to anything i post.

u look up to enoch or agree with his views and so u want to defend him and and beg his approval by doing attacks on my posts at any opportunity u see.

very lapdogish behaviour

thats exactly what I did; but ur comprehension is selective, because ur focused on winning arguments rather then accepting differing viewpoints.

I just re-read the Bible and all the explanations of track mutes and pad mutes - but I wished it also mentioned the trick for forum user mute.

…and with that.. let’s all calm down or the thread can come to a close.
I share a percentage of this shame also. :Sigh:

but to bring it back to topic it took approx 1min 20 seconds to stem a 2 minute sample on a duo core laptop with 8GB RAM.

so not sure how many cores the mpc processor has but with 2GB of RAM it may struggle.

I fear stems would be very slow when in stand alone; I am cool with perhaps in standalone the max size sample you can stem is 30 seconds.

but in general stems workflow still need improving; specifically with regard to copying pad that contains a stemed sample, as I found that once pads are copied after the steming proces I could not adust the start points of the sample on it would alway place the sample from the begining.

so am just steming the sample; then resampling the stem i want, then copying and chopping as usual (changing start points on diff pads)

I Agree with this! Stems Technology would only seem effective in Small Increments...In Standalone Mode. Akai hasn't touched its Hardware in a Long While. Like Jpeg said...I'm all for the Limitation

It's not that I have a vendetta against your posts, its just that many of of what you say is bogus. Like saying I look up to Enoch because I have respect for him & calling you out on your lie that I asks you twice to point out. But in the future I'll try not to reply to your post just to keep the peace.

Just for the record I actually spent time listing to all your beats on YouTube & didn't give you a negative review on Gearspace: https://gearspace.com/board/showpost.ph ... ount=30930

But people like you will only remember the bad even if what you're calling negative wasn't even that: https://gearspace.com/board/showpost.ph ... ount=30977

Like I said I'll try to ignore you.

Before you lock it down Lampdog.. I asked AI to write a poem about this thread, Here's what I got:

In a land of pixels and code,
Where images dance and words unfold,
There lived a rude guy named Enoch,
To whom arguments were never old.

He loved to debate and discuss,
And never let his words digress,
But one day, he met his match,
In a fool named Jpeg, so wretched.

Enoch argued with great zest,
About the stems of digital nest,
But Jpeg just wouldn't give in,
And Enoch's anger would spin.

"You're wrong, you foolish Jpeg,"
Enoch shouted with great vehemence,
"Stems should be tall and proud,
Not short and round and unsound."

But Jpeg just laughed with glee,
And shook his head with great energy,
"You're wrong, my dear Enoch,"
He said with a grin so wide and goofy.

"Stems can be short and sweet,
And still be just as neat,
They don't have to be so tall,
To stand out in the digital hall."

Enoch scowled and crossed his arms,
His anger like a stormy charm,
But Jpeg just kept on smiling,
His foolishness like a shining pearl.

The two of them argued back and forth,
Their words like swords in a digital forth,
But in the end, they both agreed,
That stems can be whatever they please.

So let us celebrate with glee,
The beauty of stems, you see,
They can be tall or short or wide,
And still be perfect, side by side.

 What make this more funny is what's going at Gearspace right now: https://gearspace.com/board/electronic- ... -1037.html

Back on topic. I would like to see someone do a MPC-Stem comparison of the same song from vinyl, CD & YouTube.

I think I'll stick the with the Ultimate Vocal Remover for now, maybe move onto something like RipX.
I also think it's a possibility that Stems could be too much for the new Mpcs in standalone. Which would attract other people to upgrade to upcoming hardware that will likely have an internal upgrade of some sort. If not just the 4gb of ram that they put out previously on the 61Key or the XSE, or maybe the CPU will get an upgrade. Either or... I don't use Mpc Software Period. Lmao. I never bought Flavor Pro or any of there plug-ins yet. I just wanted to use the Mpc like you know.... An Mpc. Not a DAW. If they start focusing on the sampling side of things again in Standalone, then I will maybe toss em a couple bucks. I don't really support the time they have wasted while they could of been focusing on the Sample/Midi side of things. Instead it's "Open the Flood Gates to More Hardware!" Like the Mpc37Key not having 4Gb of Ram like they Gate Keeping it or something. The F' is that. If they gonna release a bunch of VST's that kill the Ram, then they should stop holding back on the progress in the hardware like they are. New Form Factors is just whatever... Give us something to turn our heads about or maybe how about they catch up to what the old Mpc's could do one day... I know the new ones are capable of a lot but still some key features are missing in my eyes. I only use Mpc's for sampling, sequencing, and midi. Really with they wouldn't rather jump on the AI band wagon and instead give us a Mpc with tighter midi, better sounds, etc, etc... :Sigh:
