Wow - this underlines how capital the move to a new platform will be for Akai... And why the roadmap may be Akai's most closely guarded secret: the moment they announce a new generation model for one of their ranges, every model in every range undergoes Osborne effect !

Besides, everyone knows that the AI beat advisor and AI mastering tools are coming in 4.0.

nobody cares about 4.0 or any AI features; we just want the basics a mixer and an arranger; along with stems

also nobody worried bout 3.0; but we take an interest cos its likely to delive the aforementioned arranger and mixer features.

so we anticipate 3.0 while we make music with what we currently have

The samples did come out clean & it process them quickly, but it could've been edited.
I wish they give some info on when it's coming to standalone & if it's coming to the Force.

I love that Luther song! It always reminds of one of my favorite beats: "True Confessions" with Tragedy Khadafi from 97.

akai has said controller mode is due in march and standalone later

i have never used controller mode since buying the live in 2017 but will now start using controller mode purely for the stems; cos i suspect they will take their time doing stems in standalone
