i would also recommend the yamaha reface as I think this is even more immediate than the korg minilogue, only downside no onboard patch storage.

it also makes a good controller but that thing can make some very big smooth and diverse sounds, surprisingly quickly.

but the X looks so awesome in that vid; its gonna be a landslide victory for akai, hence their smug nonchalant approach to release.

stylistically the x is way more compelling than the live, but i think both will sell bucketloads and become the two most popular mpcs ever.

Was supposed "Q1 springtime", then there was a lot of talk about April, now May – if that dude is to be trusted.
So it's getting closer to the summer.

Why May, why not April? This is the thing with Akai. You never know. It can be 2018 for all you know, really.

Spend your cash on something that inspires you by a company you feel you can trust.

Unfortunately I can confirm that... "gegen Herbst" means: "around (or approx.) in fall"

Seriously, let me know when your scrapheap aka "MPC" x arrives so we can battle like grown men. In the meantime you can practice on your other "MPCs" and...oh I forgot, you´ve sold them all to fund the vapor-x...

In the sonicstate video Andy said "not long now till these hit the stores" and the Akai rep posting here said June for the X, and this other dude is now saying fall, next dude will say August 2033.
