If people think the warp sounds bad, use one of those machines. But that was part of the charm, the grit, the dirty. :nod:

It’s damn good idea to replicate time stretching algo of vintage machines in the new Akai’s samplers. If you remember that vocal “Josh Wink — Higher State of Conciseness”. Like Akai now emulates MPC60 coloring, they can turn their really bad warping to coolest feature. And am pretty sure, modern gear can handle it as online warping. Sure, this effect maybe not good for complex material. But for vocals and other stuff it’s great! The dirtiest the better!
