It's not that they 'can't' do any of this, it's that they don't see any logical reason 'to' do it.

That would then confirm the theory of the people behind the MPC not actually using the MPC. However, I do have it on very good authority from hired guns that it's a dumpster fire behind the scenes, so there's that.

So, someone is going to get their beta access revoked and sued. :Sigh:

Everything is speculation, even with people „knowing more“. Often you can‘t know which features are going in, neither when that‘ll be the case. Companies do stuff, and that‘s that. Experience shows things more accurately than beta insights. Akai recently doesn‘t have a reputation to listen to its‘ user base, so even knowing something „on good authority“ rather is a joke in itself.

I would be glad to be wrong and having you to be right, but I highly, whole-heartedly doubt that. We‘ll see. :-D

For what? Having an opinion which happens to check out with the quality of the last four buggy firmware updates?

Not sure how, but I'm not here to argue. Moving on.

Also @ op you can control the filter cutoff while in program edit -> env: filter. it's the 2nd q-link on the first q-link bank keep it on that screen while you record and automate. Not good for live instances but eh. Otherwise if you wanna rock it live. Hook up a keyboard and use the mod wheel. "Key Group" not "Pad Group" filter cutoff is there for mod options. If i am playing my keygroup as chords from the pads and i want to trim the filter i reach over to my microkorg and roll up the mod wheel lol. it works fine.

MODWHEEL DOESNT WORK! It can only control lfo. But there is no way to control cutoff directly or automate cutoff on env page.

There was workaround with LFO>filter in force 3.13 , but since then LFO has become free running, so they took away this option
