How many effects can the Analog Heat MKII run at the same time? Also the Behringer pedals are really good.
It’s essentially one effect with different parts. You can use 1 circuit at a time, 1 filter type that can be bypassed, 1 or two assignable lfos, envelope follower that’s can be turned off and an eq section that can be bypassed. Of course the whole unit itself can be bypassed.
It’s the programming that can turn it into other effects. Using the envelope follower to control the drive will make a digital controlled compressor, assigning fast lfos to the drive can make a tremolo, there’s also parameters to control the stereo field/ panning. You can get really nuts with it. It’s honestly a synth without oscillators, but even then you can get the filters to self resonate and program them.
The programming can get very very deep, but typically I just use it to dial a sound in real quick. The menu diving isn’t bad what so ever compared to other elektron gear. The mk2 version has a nice GUI, one of the cons to the mk1 I have is getting the input and output levels to match. The mk2 has that covered with big input and output meters. The signal drops a bit running into it and it varies by circuit you use but there really isn’t much of a noise floor unless you really crank the settings.
I only use maybe three or four of the circuits, they get really grimey as you move clock wise from clean boost.
