Reason Studios 11.2 is Now Out!

Has anyone tried using the players in the Reason Rack inside the MPC software? I haven’t had a chance to try this out yet.

I was using the arp and chord player yesterday with worked pretty well until the MPC Started crashing with hosting Reason. I was only getting crashing if the software was minimized for a while and then brought up to focus.

But the chords and sequences I was doing with Aquios x4 rack extensions were pretty dope.

Was the MPC software crashing cause of the arp/chord player?

I have have tremendous trouble with the mpc software , only thing that works in it is Analog 3 and Air Instruments. I don't mess with it.

Arp/Chord thigy is pretty dope.

Nah I think it was mpc software just crashing upon a suspended wake up with reason loaded.

I knew it. That's why l work soley in Reason

But the reason rack is only vst3 and akai mpc software only supports vst 2.4

In macOS mpc software can host audio units also which reason is.

It's pretty easy, for sure. Just another way to approach beat making, anyway. Hell, for free (for 11 owners) it's hard not to like anyway. There's a massive preset library to get people started.

@Enoch, dry snitching is a slang word, inner city peeps use. Im from New York, there are variations of snitching.

Dry snitching is = Informing someone of something indirectly, that's what you did. Not a big deal.

Ok Reason 11.2 DOPE! I love the offline Activation. I think its the easiest. Down load 11.2 , the get the codemeter.
First install 11.2 then the codemeter on an offline computer and you're done!

Did anyone synch up the MPC to Reason yet?

Non plugin wise?

I had this all synced via Ableton Link

Reason 11.2 on desktop pc
mpc live standlone via wifi
imaschine 2 via iphone
impc pro 2 via ipad
ableton live 10 on mac book pro
MPC 2.9 with MPC touch on windows lap

I only did it just to see if it would work, only had a basic sound running on each device, it worked pretty well.

Oh, ok, you had a lot going on there. Im trying to find the part on the Redrum where l drag and drop the midi on to a track, plus randomization.

Were you able to open say Redrum, add drums to it and hit the pads on the MPC and get a response?
