No, it is not - because Akai never intended your MPC or Force to be carried in your pocket with a set of keys, nor dropped onto concrete.
But seriously, the stock factory touchscreen is just plastic that covers the LCD, and yes - it can be prone to scratching just by repeatedly wiping it with a dry microfiber cloth. These Nano Glass protectors remove that problem.

I just wanted to give major props - just received mine and they're 100% quality (got the 2-pack, which honestly - this was a fair deal). Even came with a little vinyl record drink coaster - sweet!
These screen protectors are no different installing than a cellphone screen protector - very easy. It did take me a second application to get my placement straight, which did result in small air bubbles forming underneath, but they're tolerable IMHO (really, these aren't even visible when the MPC is powered up anyway). The point is, peeling it back up one time didn't break the Nano Glass, which was pleasantly surprising. I've still got the second one if I decide to switch it out, but something tells me this initial one will last quite some time.
Shipping from across the pond took 3 weeks, but during a pandemic it's hard to complain.
Anyway, highly recommend these - the cut is spot on perfect, the Nano Glass itself is perfect, and the packaging is 100% professional. Trusted vendor.
