I'm pretty sure the NDA I agreed to prevents me from saying exactly what I think he's hinting at, but I know with certainty that I can say a lot of people will be happy if I'm right; if I'm wrong, then I guess we will all wait longer which would be a bummer for me personally...

anyway... nobody knows anything here, they just pretend they do.

Yeah unless someone is an employee, an 'Alpha tester' or some highly paid direct Akai shill, nobody knows shit. And I doubt any of the testing folks get info on the actual roadmap. Sorry but anybody on the 'beta team' isn't told anything at all other than 'Here's some new crap to play with' and that's it. Youtube folks are just reaching for attention, that's all.

Bolo is usually reliable, at least more so than most youtubers. He's had Andy Mac at his place in the past.

I always remember Akai making an announcement on Thursday's so we'll see.

Not only is he usually reliable, he was successful before messing with Akai & being know as an YouTuber. So l was kinda surprised nothing happened. Oh well, beats still gonna get made.

I doubt it's a gen MPC, since the ONE + & Key37 are still new. It may be a major OS thing. Hopefully it's bug fixes & QOL improvements, but it’s most likely stems for standalone. Only the mysterious red ninja knows.

Nah, I'm not breaking the NDA for you or anyone else. I've been part of the beta program since 2016 and never had a problem with the Akai Pro or the BFD teams.

I know some people here are also in the beta program because I've seen their posts and occasionally offered my opinions.

I also don't want anyone running back with false claims that I'm breaking the NDA. I've seen some dudes from the beta program post videos of things currently in beta on a particular Discord server, but I don't say anything because that's not my place.

YouTubers like Bolo, Malo, Ave, Marlow, Ricky, etc., are part of Andy Mac's marketing program, which is separate from the beta program.

When everyone was going crazy for MPC Stems here and on Facebook, I never said a word about it. I waited patiently for the official release so I could, in turn, release the records I made with it.

Sometimes, I get invited to Alpha tests, and sometimes, I don't. But I think Bolo is alluding to something that will make many MPC users happy. I personally hope it's something in particular that would make me very happy because then I can release the music I made with it on vinyl as soon as possible.

For all I know, it could be something that I don't know anything about, but I've seen strong indicators that it's what I suspect it to be. It's all waiting and seeing from here...

I’m assuming it’s the lofly plugin from MSXII. Since it’s the first 3rd party plug in makes sense for BOLO to phrase it the way he did. Hope they port the fly tape also

Whoa Akai's next product is a team up with BFD, that's been 8 years the development. That sounds awesome, I can't wait, I bet it'll be fire! Thanks for the heads up, :worthy:
