The design of the pads does look like they are / can be divided into multiple pads, but the 4 sensors could also be how they implemented MPE.

It could be both.

Happy to help out
The Force clip-matrix will be amazing for composing on the MPC. It's one the main reasons I could never go back to any MPC without it. Most of my instrumentals are over 5 minutes & organizing my ideas is just way faster & fun using the clip-matrix. Outside of that it most just like a MPC.

I am so looking forward to a new flagship X2 (or something). But I don’t know how far off this one still is. I can imagine that they release it with the „stable“ PC DAW version to have the complete experience :hmmm:

They came out so bold with the design of L3 that it wouldn't suprise me if they come up with Force6 beforehand, at least we all seen the working unit already

Oh I definitely like all the buttons. In fact the more buttons the better for me. Makes me use the touchscreen less.
Back in 2017 when they released the OG Live the X was released a couple months later. But there have been 3 years between the L2 and the X SE. I guess/hope they won’t wait that long for overhauling their flagship. Especially since I don’t see the X se as a meaningful successor to the OG X.

Wait. We have seen a new Force already? Did I miss something?

You can bet your bottom dollar there will be some bigly version that will end up only being a few hundred more than the live making everyone regret buying the live first. its how they got us last time wasnt it? live ii before x se.

Actually it's not that old, i know a guy who leaked it at the end of 2024 :)
The other old...very old image of Force 6 you think of was leaked by... me :-D
anyway, contrary to any allegedly upcoming X2, some bits of code as well as test apps regarding force6 are still in 3.x after all these years
