Editing samples on the Touch seems awkward as hell.

u can use the data wheel to edit samples; so it would just be an mpc with a bigger screen in that respect

Zaytoven was just doing a live stream on Facebook for the Live.

It was only about 3 mins, was from far away so not very insightful and ended quickly but looks like someone else was filming it properly so should have a better video soon hopefully as that disappeared!

EDIT
Theres now a slightly different video up now.

Looks nice I guess. Until I see 2.0 tho, not sure how good it's gonna be. How well does it integrate VSTs? Is mixing as shitty as it is with the current software (eg, not being able to do anything when a plugin window is open)? If it's near 2k dollars, there's 0 chance I buy something that appears to be a Touch/Live with extra buttons and knobs. I own a Touch already and with Akai's 2.0 debacle, I just can't trust this company to live up to its promises. Considering I can barely use the MPC plugin in Logic as it is and had to switch to Ableton just to get it to sync properly, I'm just gonna wait on Push 3, which will almost guaranteed be cheaper. Now if 2.0 comes out and blows me away, maybe I'll change my mind, but does anyone actually expect that at this point? Their software is so far behind the competition and the inability to ever give us an idea of when it will be out shows me that they're struggling to keep up. I like my Touch for what it is, but I'm just over the Akai "follow our newsletter" bs when it comes to software that was advertised as "coming in 2016" back in January and hasn't been updated since May.

No way man, this one has a VU meter... and is that a CF card slot on the front panel?

From Akai?!

They've basically tweaked the previous prototype and put an even bigger screen on it. Gotta say, I do like it. That screen would be killer to use in-between the crashes.
