I am glad my 8800 doesn´t have these gimmicks. And I am glad it actually works as expected unlike Nukai´s new pieces of junk.

You wouldn't like a touch screen phone either?
You sound like a pathetic old man shaking his fist at trains running on electricity.
We get it, you're probably 45 and you only like old slow tech that can't connect to a computer, but you're always harassing those who actually like new tech...get a life and let them enjoy them. You're voiced your opinion on Akai so many times here – it's duly noted. I don't know one mature adult who puts that much time on negativity.
And last time I checked, your website displays Nukai MPC 1000/500/2500...I forgot and won't look twice. So what's the story here?

I don't know what happened to his he should return it. I hope no one use a solvent on their screen to clean it. Use the black cloth it wipes the finger prints off real good. Akai should of given us 2 cloths.

Yeah, @theun****able serves absolutely no purpose on these forums, beyond being ridiculous enough w/ his trolling to elicit an occasional chuckle.

Sadly, said chuckles are few and far between, because the only thing older than his Akai-hating disses is that pontoon boat he calls a production center, the MV-8800.

I mean, I think I saw an 8800 float across the horizon, on my last Cancun visit. Some girls were strutting around on it, jiggling to salsa, trying to market Coronas. That thing is such a monstrosity, the Greeks used to shackle sacrificial virgins to it, to appease the mighty Kraken! And, yo! Didn't Kubrick use one as "the monolith" in 2001: A Space Odyssey? Those monkeys were mad as **** when it showed up!! Can't say I blame them. With that horrible, high-pitched squeal it emits! Must be the CD burner. Or maybe that's just @theun****able's "sound".

I am using it in standalone mostly because the 2.0 was overwhelming, so figuring out the touch screen is more important to me. I hope Akai is reading our feedback to make this the best MPC since the 4000.

I did not know Akai would be using ILok, so using the software on other computers will not be an issue.
Now if the Live is a computer is Akai going to create plugins for the Live because in the end your adding an App, right?

I'm really enjoying mine so far, but for me, to be usable in a live situation it needs to have navigation shortcuts like shift+pad.

Another thing I wish for would be effects parameters automations, imagine the fun you could have automating the parameters of the Grime distortion.

The MPC Live is a Linux computer so any plugins would need to be re-written specifically for it. It would seem to make sense for Akai to at least create a standalone port of Hybrid, but considering the length of time it's taken to develop a beta 2.0 with lots of missing or half baked features, I wouldn't hold your breath to see native plugins appearing any time soon.

a grown man taking time out to create these memes on a regular basis; I feel u should have more pressing things to do with ur time, and should have better things to do, rather than spend time on a forum dedicated to something u dont like.

like if i hate apple; I aint gonna join the apple forum to tell apple users daily how shit apple is.
