Overload on servers and sync issue..they are working on getting everyone up...if u not up check back in couple hours

I'm trying to wrap my head around why it would work for some people and not for others. Did they end up having to fill the orders by hand and send them through fax or something?

I got mine working through MPC 2.14 desktop software, your MPC controls it. Not quite the same as standalone but it all works, really well.

yes indeed standalone just hit different and having stems in standalone is just more convenient cos when in controller mode its fiddly.

for example when browsing it only shows the computer c drive but i cant see the internal drive of the live where all my existing projects are.

A bit of a shambles from what I can see. I’ve downloaded MPC2, logged in, updated to 2.14 etc. I can see it in software, but no option to activate even though I used the same email. Good job it wasn’t £50-100, I would be going mental!
If you are going to introduce something like this, 1. Make sure the activation is simple, 2. Make sure it works flawlessly with no hiccups. It needs to be idiot proof.
I couldn’t be bothered in the end. Stuff like this is what makes a 2yr user like me think what a joke. They have hyped it up so much. Akai, make sure you under promise and over deliver! Not seeing it right now.

UPDATE**
Stems is now working and the issue is resolved.
For those still going through, hang in there and wait for Akai to catch up will all the orders. You will get an email confirming your purchase, and then later will receive another email welcoming you in. That 2nd email is the one letting you know it's ready.

I bought Stems at 9:30am and I received the email letting me know it was ready to activate at 5:30pm The email is titled "Welcome to MPC Stems"

It's finally here!
