but I gotta look ahead to the next MPC, as my next gen hunger has yet to be quenched, fingers crossed up next is the new gen MPC One .

Just wonder, will that be without all the new gizmos like the step buttons and touch strip?

Even when stretched all the way out the stand is BARELY able to fit the XL & that lil front rubber lip will stress the headphone volume knob, don’t break the volume knob. I had to place a layer of foam at the right side of the machine so the knob would have room to move and NOT get rub against caught agains it. If you just throw the machine in there, the knob can’t move because of the pressure.

I hope they leave out the step buttons along the top of the new One mkii
If they do include step buttons they will have to be much smaller.

I think the touch strip will be left out; to save space and keep the footprint as small as possible.

I think the pads will be normal size pads as on the Live 3; with the same qlinks and main knob as the live3

Will be the same processor and RAM as the Live3 but with a half size HD, but I think it has the potential to be easiset on the eye, hopefully its all black or retro colour.

All gen2 units are bigger than their gen1 unit. So the a new One would possibly increase in size too. The touchstrip is too dope & useful to leave out. It may get the same L3 drum pads, but either smaller step buttons, 2 rows of 8 or just 8 with button to switch between 1-8 & 9-16.

If the g2 One getter bigger than there's more of chance for a MPC Mini.

New XL measurements

Width:
19.21"
Depth:
21.37"

The gator stand is 21.8 wide at the full extension and depth is close to 21 » so it should fit. The lip in the front may hit the headphone knob. Maybe
