I checked the specs, mine is V1.
Your V2 opens wider and is built slightly different.
I need to sell mine and get V2.
I could cut the lip a little add some dipped rubber like they use on
tool handles, I don’t feel like doing all of that though.

I haven’t seen a retro XL in stores, maybe it was a prototype/model for testers only that will come out later, idk man.

The one in your pic is Onstage Mix 400 v2.

I have Onstage Mix 400 v1, fine with OG X, doesn’t play nice with XL’s headphone volume knob.

The one in your link is Gator Frameworks Adjustable Rolling Mixer Stand.

I don’t use sd slot anymore so this doesn’t bother me at all. It’s extended out as far as it can go.

Nice i didn't know akai put this out.. interesting I didn't know the XL came will just about everything.. im gonna sell my plugins i have for my X :-D :-D anyone want the pro pack :-D :-D

I take that Pro-Pack, as I feel Force users should get a discount since we already have some of the features in the pack.

So I eat my words it does look like the photo. I am not to proud to admit I was wrong. It just looks kinda weirdly tacky. Why the screws all over the top plate, will there be swapable hardware components? Anyone took a look inside of one yet to see what's in there? Kinda chunky unit maybe there is an easter egg in its guts.

The screws could be a design homage to the 4000.

That makes sense. I hadn't made that connection. Thanks that cleared up that question. it would have been neat if they let you move the layout around.
