Hi folks,
I promised to give an update on my experience with AKAI/inMusic regarding the handling of my bug-report of the "hissing" noise bug in the MPC-OS 3.x.x sound engine described here:
viewtopic.php?f=48&t=218984&start=45#p1891964. So .. here we go:
April 9th 2025 - I reported the bug by opening a ticket on the AKAI-pro support website
https://support.akaipro.com/de/support/home.
April 11th 2025 - I received a reply e-mail from AKAI support with an apology that it took them so long (2 days) to send me a conformation that my ticket was received and ensuring me that my enquiry is important to them.
April 14th 2025 - I received another more very nice and more personal e-mail by an AKAI/inMusic support staff named John, telling me that he had passed my ticket to the relevant department and thanking me for my time and efforts compiling the related information. I was also ensured that any follow-up questions will be answered.
April 15th 2025 - I did sent an answer to John telling him that I would be pleased if he can inform me about the status of the ticket from time to time and that I had promised to give regular updates to you guys.
Some minutes

later I received another very nice reply from John that I quoted here:
<quote>I have just passed my report to the Dev team who are currently evaluating my findings. I am awaiting them to get back to me regarding it for a resolution."
In the meantime, please feel free to let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I will be happy to help.
I will keep your ticket open on my inbox for now as requested, and let you know as soon as I hear something.
I hope you have a good day! </quote>
I can say that I'm very pleased on how my ticket is handled by the AKAI/inMusic support so far and I hope this will continue and the bug will be fixed soon. I'll keep you all updated when receiving new information.
All best
