New Vintage synths

Well people spend $20-40 on expansion packs all the time and to me those hold little value.

I bought Analog Dreams and was disappointed, and inmusic can easily see from customer data that I paid for Iona after the vintage synths came out but did it buy the new ones or even trial them. But I suspect a lot of people will buy them. But me personally, my MPC and Force have more than enough sounds for me already.

I never paid for any expansion pack & haven't gotten any of the NI synths yet. Iona is might be my next plugin, but like you my Force has enough sounds, so I'm not in a rush.

XpandClassicSynthsAndromeda
XpandClassicSynthsVintageCS (80?)

If they come up with a reasonable touchscreen UI for the TIMEWARP 2600 I am tempted. Tough but IMHO not entirely impossible. The mod matrix isn't a bad starting point.

Or I buy the Beringer hardware clone and happily make a cable mess

I’m a beginner at all of this, but Iona more than any other got my juices flowing probably because I listened to so much electronic music in the 90s. Load a patch, twiddle a few knobs and FX, and it’s “oh damn that’s where the sound came from in ___ song!”

I’d like to see an advanced arpeggiator plugin myself that sends midi to internal synths and yep I’d pay money for it.

I was mostly into Hip-Hop in the 90s, so the SH101 most of these syths are things I got into later when I started making music in the early 2000s, but hearing your praises is inspiring!

I can confirm that I DO NOT work for Akai or InMusic, I am suprised anyone would conclude that.

So was everyone who guessed right beforehand also. Plus there had to be a ton of people who knew about it outside the company as well. I Have a friend whose roommate worked for a big tech co years ago and he’d bring prototype phones home he was working on. Workers and roomates and friends like that cover the globe. And in my own work clients sometimes tell me things the average person wouldn’t know.
