Exactly the reason why I find it hard to “let loose” on S2400 pads. Those pads are like the distant cousin coming to visit and you really don’t feel like having company but you invite the Fam in anyway cause the rest of the Fam is somewhat cool.

Yeah, totally agree... the keybed's sensitivity, responsiveness & dynamics is super important.

I sent a ticket (for suggestion/request) for a Fatar TP-110 or Korg RH3 keybed for future product.


Speaking of pads... totally noticed my new X SE's pads aren't as sensitive, responsive nor dynamic as my ex-mpc60 (maybe since it's old and super broken in? idk, lol). All good, it's what I have now and it's good enuf.

I'm not so interested in a fancy keyboard version, but my Hydrasynth Explorer has poly after touch. If they gave the keyboard Poly aftertouch and made the Akai MPE compatible, that would be a knock on a effect that would make me welcome a flagship keyboard version.

even if they did it they'd find a way to screw it up. like having one of the notes cut out lol.
