Is MPC Live overpriced ?

Akai Pro with the LIVE and THE REN improved on that bench mark. The software and OS update, fixed issues that past/current Touch and Renaissance owners had.

Ab link works and blue tooth works now. Those were the only ones that didnt work. But l have no interest in either. I will never buy Ableton live.

I don't need splice if l want that l can join it.

Just like l asked what machine can f**k wit the MPC Live in features and l got no logical answer.

I was trying to agree with you but be fair about not everything was there from start.

The bit about the digitakt was because people are saying the Mpc is over priced, well look what a few hundred dollars less gets you brand new. Digitakt was cool little device but nothing to compared to even a Mpc 2000.

Naw I miswrote. People saying the live is over priced. So I brought up what you get with the next tier down. An economy Mpc 2000 with a delay and reverb, and differnt sequencer structure

People think a free Twitter account is overpriced. They'll spend 400 dollar on some sneakers, but cry about 1200 for machine that, can make you thousands/millions if you know how to hustle. While all those sneakers do is walk them to the job they hate.

For the most part, people are satisfied with the device, calling it overpriced after being on the market for 1 year and half is a bit too late. Any ebay SP1200 that cost more than 1200 dollars is OVERPRICED, for what it actually does.

Yea this place was flooded like that for awhile not sure why it’s resurfaces again. Lots of complaints lately. I think people are just itching for more features, not sure why. I’m not even on the latest os might even be two behind but for what I use it for it actually still more than meets my expectations. It’s the Mpc i wanted in 2012 when my interest in beats started to slide off. Glad I hoped back on the train. It was something I was really missing from my life.

For me. The live has helped me greatly. I can do drums in Reason and Live. Im not going to take my lappy and the LPD8 out to the stu. The LPD8 don't have 16 dope ass pads.
I take the Live with me and bang out drums Quickly then drop the stems in PT and its go time. Its to dam easy lol

Me too bro. Man when l got my MPC live l was like "Oh sh*t it got that? " l was shocked, the rhings it now have l was already using in Reason and wished the 2000XL had that. I didn't expect much but l was shocked and now lm happy. 2012 was that year for me too

If the hardware had EVERYTHING the software had why not just make a standalone?

Andy was bs lying multiple times and multiple videos and no one was checking him on it. We couldn’t ask questions to any reps. That really ticked me off, then we finally got real-time time stretch is it’s horrible on standalone. (Off line still sounds great).

Fanu’s been harassing them them about automation lane viewing in standalone viewing since launch.

What’s with all the secrecy in 2.3? The splice secrecy I understand, but what else is going on with bug fixes?

Can a brother get some disc streaming, global midi learn in standalone, and crossfade loop?
