Can you name an example of a Brass VST, and if so, is it a synth or a sample library? I'm asking because this is a thread about the next synth, and Audio Modelling SWAM synthesis is synth, where as CineBrass is a sample library.

From Air music you have the Electric the Electric Piano synthesizer or Stage EP, the electric piano sample library.

I'm guessing you mean a sample library, which are more genre specific with brass.

This thread for vintage synth & I don't know any that was dedicated to brass synths besides something like Solina which is already there.
This thread maybe a better place for modern suggestions:

Since they own the source code these would be nice:

Animoog Z
Model 15

Model D (is Moog's version better than the Mini D)
Marina Bass
and every MoogerFooger pedal there is. (Though remember Akai/Air, that Behringer is selling their MoogerFooger clones for $99-$150. So we don't need the plugins to cost the same as the pedals!) :)

I am a pianist and I see potential for the KEY61 which I purchased to replace my Nord NS2. I don't pretend to have the talent of Stevie Wonder but yes a good clavinet to play live would be great. I use my MPC KEY 61 with my live band.
KEY61 can be the future of Nord stage :-D

Nord Stage Vs MPC is not the case. They can eventually be complementary

Need a 2 oscillator polysynth (to get Jupiter/JX8 type pads) - the Jura is alright, but only one oscillator, so can't get the phasey strings and similar - just add an oscillator to the Jura would be good enough I think!. I've got quite close just sampling an analogue synth and using the keycaps, which are pretty powerful - there's a lot that can be don with that, but need good sample base, but would be a bit easier to program with a proper multi-osc poly model.

The closest thing you can do for 2 OSCs is to layer 2 Jura tracks. You can MIDI Send the first Jura track into the 2nd so they can share the same seq data of the first.
