 Let me answer that for you, NO! He has no comparison! I asked him to do one he said he aint gonna waste time.
 :WTF: he been on and off and could of done. It takes me 10 minutes to do a track in S1v4 and use the drums in the MPC live not my own and l would go against his comparison. He said NO!
Lol

I told him he talked ONLY about how Luna sounded on the X, not the functions.
Now you're saying the same thing l told him. That dude is all over the place.

mr_debauch wrote:we past page 6 and no comparison **** is posted yet?

you are on a forum where we talk akai sampling machines, from back in the s900 days to the new 2010/2020 machines.... the only thing we got is talking about the sound, it sure isn't the amazing features

jokes aside, forum tradition dictates we need a proper VS thread or some kind of comparison. you say the X sounds better through such and such... we are interested. let's check that comparison to see what you hear.

Geez.

I did stop he kept it up bro. He tried to make it seem like l don't know what the hell lm talking about. This is a healthy debate. If someone makes a blatant suggestion we have the right to check it.

Lamp trust me look deeper into this its not that serious but it shows you just can't take everything as truth. People are learning.

Presonus have their own piece to rock with
If l was to get hardware to get more l would pick Presonus system over Protools and Luna. S1v4 takes VST3 and works without the Presonus hardware and their native stuff is top notch. VCA and busses, VU meter, Fat Channel etc, is dope. They even gave one EQ joint fir free l missed out on that. But yeah would go wuth that. Don't need a Mac to do a Presonus system setup.

True but someone obviously didn't thats why a debate was needed.

Like this needs to be said. You're locked to an interface, then iLok, no VST3 and vst2 support and now this and Mac only? YOU HAVE TO BE ONLINE WHILE USING IT if you don't take the iLok route.
Then implement the MPC into it? See those things wasn't said lamp. Just cause we know something don't mean others know. Im on a PC ain't no way lm getting into Mac again. This not for me or ithers on a PC.

No disrespect, but I’m a former Windows user and I’m never going backwards to that platform or the mentality that comes with it.

iLok is not gonna hurt you, it’s a quick and easy process, geez people are such crybabies today.

F u c k reading specs, use your damn ears. LUNA does not sound like any of these typical DAWs.

Pro Tools looks like Cubase, which looks like Logic.

Again, you’re doing way too much.

You wanna be proclaimed the victor, then proclaim yourself the winner of this imaginary contest.

Congratulations you won your circle jerk argument about nothing and we’re all better for it.

Pardon me, I need to go eat breakfast, workout in my home gym, take a sh!t, shower, shave, and then buy the LUNA Creator Bundle and then track a 12 song instrumental album I finished composing using my MPC X and several analog synths to LUNA so I can have a fat, beautiful, rich, warm, superb sound before I mix it down in Studio One...

But yo all that other stuff TO MUCH INFORMATION DUDE! :vomit:

Since you said it sound better care to show us?

Thank you

The topicname is like a catchy news article headline... But basically it comes down to how good your monitor/headphones are and how well you know them. Changing from one daw to another ain't gonna change nothing in how you hear or mix.

So is anyone going to do a simple sequence on one daw vs another daw with no effects and then compare the wav files?

yeah man... same sound card, same mpc sequence ... tracked in on 3 or 4 different daws. even if it is some kind of digital colouring thing or what ever... it isn't a big deal, but it would be nice to figure it out.
