NOUN

In Italy we call this "Climbing the glass". We use it when someone is defending something even if there is nothing more to defend.
You try to climb, you slip down, try again and so on.
I remember carrying my very heavy dx7 on the.80s, it was very painful.

Yeah, gigging with my old Roland Juno 106 was an exercise in back pain management.

I tell you I seen it all. People don't even understand what portable is. I used to go to class in a portable. Sometimes when I'm at the fair I use the bathroom in a portable. Hey since I can't carry it they shouldn't call it a portable either right?

But portable, isn't it?
Just some back problems on old age but who cares.
It's portable.

There's an image tag button at the top - of the text editor - looks like a little photo (in between the text quote bubble and link icon). Insert any photo on the web's URL between:

Why? Everything on that list is portable, also the MPC X is only 12.57 lbs. Guitarist Lug around power amps and 9+ pounds guitars. Also, if it's cheaper, they could use a cheaper battery right, that draws less power.

Did not bypass the English language.

Most don't consider the X portable. Folks bring double basses to gigs. Grand pianos get brought in for gigs. Your definition is not how most use it regarding MPCs.

Cheaper battery for USB powered controllers? Battery probably heavier than the device. Really?

By that definition, EVERYTHING is a gimmick. Power steering & AC in cars are devices that attract business. Again, your definitions don't fit the context.

You're reaching, so I'm going to leave you be and let you cook.

CharlesRandolph wrote:Are you routing your 8 out to 8 different effect pedals? This is something having only 2 outs, that was nice to do. If I wanted to slow down and switch up the recording process.

I used to route all outputs, not all outs got their own effect pedal tho. Eventually I got a few more pieces of hardware & ran out of inputs on my mixer. Was thinking about getting a patchbay..... I don't know, might not, I've been playing with different signal chains & seeing what works best for me.

Most people think, that if you go outside with your hair wet, you'll get sick. But then I ask, what about swimming outside. Don't follow what most do.

Why not? But we can flip it, Battery powered for an AC powered MPC LIVE?

I can see that, but power steering gives you more control over the car and AC allows for you not over heat in 110 degree weather. Does the battery in the MPC, make give you cleaner inputs? Does it enhance the software? Does it improve the music in any way? Now, just because it's a gimmick, does not mean it's not useful. But if it was really important, why would they not put it in the MPC X?
