Bluetooth 4 has low latency, with large amounts of data transport.

I use the Korg nano Studio devices and these work perfectly, no latency noticeable.

Akai made their own version, and I do think new Advanced Keyboards will have this feature as well:

And the BT500 can connect to other devices, or at least it does recognize other devices.

bluetooth audio has a compession rate of around 4:1 @ 16bit 44khz

plus it is capped @ 48khz

That's true, however, as midi device.

AIR FX Collection

That may be deceptive.

"Akai have confirmed that MPC Software 2.0 will also ship with additional effects and instruments. MPC Live owners will get the following:

‘Air’ Instruments & Effects

HYBRID 3
LOOM
VACUUM PRO
VELVET
XPAND.2
MiniGrand
DB33
theRiser
AIR FX Collection"

Yeah, Live owners get them for 2.0 Software.... meaning they come w/ the SOFTWARE for Mac / PC that Akai gives you w/ the purchase of a Live (or X)... but are they installed and running on the actual standalones? I don't think so. No VST instruments or FX on the standalones.

I believe Masada confirmed this.

From a music production standpoint this might be correct BUT from a professional mobile DJ standpoint... BLUETOOTH is a GREAT!!

I use bluetooth every weekend for wedding ceremonies & cocktail hour. I plan on using the bluetooth enabled MPC Live paired with a future wireless (bluetooth enabled) keyboard for live remixes at gigs.

wireless is nice and i understand that and enjoy it too but just not for production like you said
but you should consider that there is a delay that comes with bluetooth (atleast for now, even the more advanced aptX bluetooth codec has it)

Nah l wasn't. I have seen that already. Dates have been changing with all the stores. Still the word estimated is there to where as they might have it on that date. You can't change and say l put that up like l knew it was a new rumor :WTF:
That store might get it on that date. So what if they do get it on the datws they say? What are you going to say?

Come on man, you were referencing DJtechtools like they've just come out with some new rumour, but that article was written the day Akai initially announced them back in Jan 9th. It doesn't matter that you claimed it was an estimate, you were presenting it like it was a 'new' estimate, when in fact it's old, out dated news from over a month ago.

This is exactly how false rumours begin, especially when you don't link through to the article you were talking about.

And l didn't preorder. Especially when l seen Sweet Water change their date over night

Fanu wrote:
Estimated or not, that is not from a source more trustworthy than Akai, and Akai has not announced an official date. If it's not coming from Akai, best not to consider it legit. There's been so many rumors floating around this thing, it's not even funny, and seems a lot of people don't question them at all – probably because they just want to see a release date so bad. There were dudes who preordered who should be playing with the new MPC by now if their shop dates had been correct

PETE GOODLIFE TO:
"@kejlabal Should be Q1. They're rolling out of factories as we speak."

"THEY'RE ROLLING OUT OF FACTORIES AS WE SPEAK"?

Well dam is Pete an Akai rep or sonething? And if they are rolling out of factories that means 2.0 is ready or someone is lying. This was written a week ago not a month ago.
First quarter is from January to April.
If Pete is of Akai personnel can we not trust him Mpc Tutor and Fanu? Yall need to calm down and stop getting upset over something so petty. Seems like you two are super anxious yourselves lol

So DJtechtools MIGHT be on point.
