Hi there,
I've just recently learned that the MPC Live has come out. Exciting!
The MPCs I've used in the past have been the MPC2000, MPC2000XL, and the MPC1000.
So, a lot has changed since then.
One of the features that I always wanted in the MPC1000 was the ability to sample audio in realtime directly to a pad so that the audio would be either available as a drum hit or a loop, depending on the configuration of that pad. I was also feeling like if it were to be a loop, that the loop should immediately phase lock to the transport of the machine. This was never possible in the 1000, since you have to stop the playback to actually record anything.
Does the Live do anything like this?
Thanks!
