Mpc live wifi and Bluetooth.

Has this been discussed already? How come the box has a sticker that says wifi and midi, but I don't see anything regarding these in the menu on the unit or in the manual. Will it be a way to transfer files, midi, or?

By the way, a criminal case against InMusic Brands, inc. USA, the head office of AKAI brand since July 2017, for misleading advertising. The reason is primarily the claim of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capability on the pack, although this has not worked or been implemented since the market launch until today, both in the MPC Live and in the MPC X.

What they are saying when it first came out it said wifi and BT but it wasnt activated. Akai mislead people.

Mine's working fine, really loving the one-button pad resampling, great for sound design.
I really need Akai to give us REAL automation editing in standalone mode.

It said it was stated in an “AT LAUNCH” context. It wasn’t. No matter if it’s there now, why, because that “marketing” to draw more people/customers/money and NOT delivering “AT LAUNCH” is a lawsuit right then and there. It was a non-deliverance of features tied to a day one launch date, plain and simple. If the launch advertisement said bt and wifi “COMING SOON” or “FUTURE FIRMWARE UPDATE” (no date/event specified) there can be no lawsuit.

Returning it is the common sense option if someone doesn’t like the product.
Many don’t and instead find it easier to bash, hate on a company instead of returning for a diff
product that satisfies you.

I'm sure people are returning them but the fact they were lied to, deserves a moment of complaint. Akai even said you'll get 6GB but Maury said that was a lie.

I wanna invest in another midi keybard maybe 49 key with BT capabilities.

You have automation in standalone. Are you meaning to be able to draw it in with your finger?

Real talk! If you don’t like the product move on. There are tons of music making options. Electribes,404s,ipads,legacy mpcs, keyboard workstations, octatracks ect. Never understood the benefit in complaining about a product you don’t like. With all the options available everyone on these forums should be able to piece together a setup that works for them. Live is not perfect but I love it. Been wanting to link it up with beat maker3 so I might give it a try later on.
