...I guess lot of people here are perfectly capable to work around limitations inside their standalone legacy MPCs, having copies of the same sample with different attack values, solves simplest ducking needs, as automating the level or the comp threshold. And all of us can always track out to our favourite DAW. Why should we invest in a NEW standalone MPC, if it's still necessary to do all of the above? Pretty pointless, IMHO

But now we have an MPC and a DAW in one box, its actually moving forward. Yeah, the MV was first in that department but it wasn't advertised as such and took people 10 years to realize what it can do from actual users. The MV, however changed my perception toward samplers. Being on one box to do it all is a creative blessing.
