Hi, apologies if this is a simplistic question i'm totally new to MPC hardware.
I have an MPC live, and right now I'm trying to record a 8bar drum pattern in grid mode off the grid (TC off) so it sounds natural, but I want to toggle the note repeat on and off to make some drums triplet when i hit them (such as snare, hi hat etc) but when I do this it sets the TC to whatever the note repeat is set to (16/T etc) which will then quantise the whole of my finger drumming to that grid, is there a way to get around this so I can record it live but toggle a triplet note repeat at the same time, or will i have to just do my triplets in over dub?
Thanks ! - Felix .
