creating new programs for MPC live

i'm not too intrested in using MPC 2.0 software because i'm primarily using the live for live shows, so not intrested in doing anything thats not stand-alone capable. BUT with that said, should i be using it to create and arrange my programs? or do i just use older MPC 1000 program making apps like pad187 or mpcpaid etc?

i have a few hundred custom samples already made, that i need to arrange into programs to get my live setup the way i like. whats best option to do so?

I'd have thought the best way is actually on the Live itself ?

Yeah, just import it from the 1k, Live reads them all, even JJOS.

when making alot of programs at once, drag and drop on a desktop is less hassle.

actually i'm having trouble loading a .xpm file made with mpc LIVE 2.0 software, but the ones made with my MPC1000 or pad187 software as .pgm load ok.
