Change Track Length from Beats to Ticks! Is this possible?

Hey Folks,

i want to create some true, some real Polyrhythms on the MPC Live. But to make this work i need to adjust the Track Length on a per Step Basis, not on a per Beat basis (the latter is just too coarse).

Is there a way to change this? Can i switch the Track Length from the Default (Beats) to Ticks (which would correspond to individual Steps in the Step Sequencer)? Found nothing, Global Settings also dont allow me to change this.

Dont think so, track length seems to be fixed to beats.

was afraid of the fact that this is really the case
