Different track lengths?

Ok, probably a real newbie question (sorry in advance).

If I want to have my hats on a 2 bar sequence, the kick on 4 bars and a synth on a 8 bar sequence and so on, how do I set up this?

pretty new to it myself, but I think if you look on each track, where it says Seq, set that to your requirements, setting it to 'Seq' will mean each track will follow the length of the sequence, but you can set it for each track to be whatever length you want
