Ok,when it comes to the last MPC that had audio tracks (MPC-5000 factory from Akai) the audio tracks were independent of your sequences was just wonder if the X/live is similar to that or if it is 8 audio tracks to each individual sequence (kinda like jjos) just trying to see if anybody knew the breakdown of this :-D

I see, but let's say you have a live bass line, a guitar a vocal or two etc. Over a four measure sequence and we'll call that the verse sequence using all eight audio tracks then you want to switch to a chorus
Which has all eight tracks go into a change... The question is do the eight audio tracks have to have the same content over multiple sequences (like the 5000) or can each sequence have different content (with the memory allowance of course) :hmmm:
