MPC Live and other Sequencer, You don't need an interface!

Peace everyone, this is to show you don't need an expensive interface to make complex drums and piano chops etc when doing music, because of latency or Quantizing is off.

Just to clarify - Did you make these videos in a response to the other thread about the X's midi timing issues?

I watched both videos and from what I could tell, the point you were making is that you could program on the grid and quantize with your daw.

Oh no, this is not a response to any thing about the X timing isdues. I didn't know it had sequencer timing issues until now. Dam the X has timing issues? Smh in standalone mode or in controller mode?

Those vids wete made in response to knuckle heads in gear sluts trying to tell me you have to have an intetface RME to take care the buffer end so your sequencer will have the midi nots on the grid. I told them no l dont need an intetface because lm hetting the Live. The sequencer in the MPCs always been tight especially when not connected to a computer. What l did was show you don't need one.

I hope hope Ill Green take my vids and throw it in their faces cause they will mislead you.

If it weren't for the little gems you can find buried in posts over there. I would not even spend one minute at that site. Ive not posted over there in the years of being a member because it just a bunch of noisy whiny people trying to prove they are smarter than someone else and the manufacturers .

exactly! many of those cats over there spend way too much time online complaining about everything. people saying why they wont get something and trying to throw salt on someone's game or some new product. i need to kick the habit and stop going over there. that site made me spend a ton of money on aira stuff!

as for the gentleman/lady who spoke of these machines needing an interface? well i have the LIVE and X and i dont use an interface. i also dont use the software and am completely hardware based and standalone in my kitchen....
