Import MPC2500 files to MPC-X, I dont use JJOS.

I will place my order for a MPC-X this week. Akai write that the MPC-X will be working with program files from all MPC machines. I use MPC2000XL and MPC2500. I heard that there will be major problems with pitch if I import my 2500 files to MPC-X . But is this true? It seems like everyone having this problem use the JJOS? I use the Akai OS. Is this the key to make it work?

Should be fine with the Akai OS 2500 projects. 2000XL APS will not load though so you'll need to save and load the PGM files individually.

Hello! Thanks for the information. If I understand this right, I just conect a USB CF cardreader to the MPC-X. And then it will be no problems to find the files and import them right?
