Rec and Master Knobs

These two knobs were pushed in as far as they can go, slightly into the housing, when I unboxed my Live. I noticed that they rub at certain points. Is it that they just weren't supposed to be pushed in like that? I'm concerned maybe it took a hit in shipping but if that's just how the pots are mounted and the knobs need to clear the housing I won't bother with asking for a replacement.
