I love the new PROGRAM EDIT > SAMPLES screen with tabbed layers and editable waveform, but I feel it needs a bit more work to make it far more usable.
Let's say I have 4 samples assigned in a CYCLE layer play. One of them has a nasty click, but which one? I guess I have to go to SAMPLE EDIT and go through each sample to find it. Possible, but time consuming.
How about each time I hit the pad in PROGRAM EDIT > SAMPLES, the currently played back 'layer' is auto selected - i.e. if layer 2 is played by the cycle, the layer 2 tab and waveform appears on screen. This could be switched off in settings or via an onscreen button if not required.
And how about a 'solo' button for each layer, this would isolate the audio when editing?
