MPC Live /X GUI - Hardware/Software Mix Match

Does anyone else have issue with the fact that there are functions of the MPC Live/X GUI that are available in Standalone Mode that are not available in the Controller Mode?

I thought they were supposed to be the same software with the exception of VSTs.

- The new program edit screen with tabs for each layer.
- The menu button layout is different.
- You cannot route pads or tracks to single channel outputs of your interface for separation.
- Your faders on the GUI of the Live/X don't snap to zero. (I think this is on both Standalone and Controller Modes)

Any thoughts?

Don't get me wrong Live is the DOPE. I'm still makin music, but its the lil jhit that is frustrating!

Akai have not yet released a 'controller mode' update for the MPC Software. Apparently (according to Akai marketing dept 'Simon Bangs') it will be 'coming soon'.

That’s absurd... it’s those type of decisions that make you scratch your head.

You can always go with Maschine software that keeps going backwards with little to no updates.. atleast akai is moving forward

those of us who dont use a computer, this is a non issue.

I use a computer and its a none issue to me.

I waiting for this update because I need it for the time stretch capabilities in program edit (drum programs).I would make things so much easier.
