MPC Live SATA HD

I just installed a HD and is not appearing on the live or computer. What I got to do for it to appear? It's fresh out the box and didn't format it yet.

do you have 2.0.5 loaded on the MPC? if not you need up update your live and then once you install the drive you can format it.

OR, if you have a SSD reader you can pop the drive into on a computer, you can format it that way.

For the computer to recognize it, you have to be in controller mode.

If it not formatted at all then the MPC won't even acknowledge its existence and there's nothing you can do about it within the MPC. Instead you'll need to format it in your computer via the computer's built in disk utility application.
