Sampling on the MPC Liv

Hello Gang! I'm an old MPC 3000 dude catching up with the features of the MPC Live. Does anyone know if I can take an already created audio sample from my hard drive and slice it and SAVE it to a program the way you can from the SAMPLE PAGE? I see where I can slice the imported audio from my drive but it does not give me the option to save it to a program or create a new program the way the SAMPLE page does. I'm sure it can do it and I overlooked this. Thanks!

slice, press shift and select convert. you`ll have the option to create a new program with the created slices, destructive or not

had the same problem. reminded me of when i got the xl new and was looking for the damn sample button for half an hour
