Using MPC Live to Provide Backing for Gigs

Hello! Very new to MPC Live and want to create a 'set' of approx 24 songs (simple drum and base parts with a little embellishment here and there) to play over during gigs.
Naturally i don't want long gaps in between each song whilst the next loads. Do any of you folks have any tips that will allow me to progress through the songs? Can i use the Convert to Seq feature?
Like i say, very new to this great machine and haven't had much time to practice yet so any time saving help is hugely appreciated!

Yes that would work, just convert all songs to sequences and fire off each sequence (i.e. song) when required. So the whole set just loads up from a single project file.

I don’t think you’ll get away with 24 tracks..It all depends from their length though..I believe 16-18 tracks are more achievable..Disk Streaming...Disk Streaming...Disk Streaming...Come on AKAI!

You can use song mode as a playlist player... IF you want some songs to run seamlessly into the next... i did this with the ren/mpcsoftware.. Was excited about the new standalone units, until i found out how limited the ram capabilities are... disk streaming would be a amazing feature...
