So Im experiencing regular crashes while messing with certain automation and qlink tweaking. Im talking about freezing and crashing with only a few things happening.
EXAMPLE:
Track 1: 2 bar loop with XY automation on the program
Track 2: 1 pad layered with 2 samples set to note off. Layer 1 is a snare. Layer 2 is a copy of the snare but reversed. Layers are set to cycle. On the Master if tweak the tuning and play the pads long enough (scratch effect) the MPC freezes and crashes. I have been able to repeat this 5 times now.
I was running 2.0.5 and after a few crashes updated to 2.0.7 firmware but it didnt help. This is not essential stuff for me, only some of my old 1k tricks but cmon 3 samples with basic automation and my Live crashes faster than me after blazing a L following a 12 hour graveyard shift!
After seeing the pathetic NAMM 2.1 "update" news Im leaning towards jumping ship. Lots to love about the new MPCs and then again lots of things leave me scratching my head.
