Anyone else having issue with MPC occasionally crashing?

I find if you load a vst and press on the “open vst instrument” window button too quickly it can crash and also just general instability at times. I’ve had projects corrupt after these crashes which is a ball ache to try and fix.

By corrupt I mean I have this one project where when I loaded it one vst instrument had corrupted and caused no audio for the entire track to work, I opened each vst instrument and found the graphical UI of one of them was black framed with parts of the graphics missing. I proceeded to delete the track and the plugging and copy the midi to a new track and created a new plugin (same vst instrument) this fixed the audio for the entire track however when I first load the track this particular instrument doesn’t work. Weirdly if I open up the vst and switch to a different sound it kicks it into life I can then select the original sound I had intended to use and everything is working (until I reload the project again!)

Anyone else encountered any stability issues at all?

Oh man. You probably installed the 2.0 without the drivers thats whats going in.

Uninstall 2.0 software then reinstall it. A window will pop up, and pick the machine you're using. The Live or X. I don't know what you're using. When you pick the rught one it will give you the correct drivers to that particular machine.

The the vst sholud work

The VST instruments are working but the program has crashed a couple of times during a session and that’s when it corrupted one of my projects. I did initially install without the mpc x drivers but then installed them when you pointed it out on another post since then it’s been working just occasional unstable.

Only thing l can think of is another program is clashing with it. It happened to me way back in the day. I deleted aprogram when l found it and everything worked fine.

Unfortunately, I am struggling with the problem with MPCX. Problem in Controller Mode and VST plugins.
The problem is that the MPC software hangs when using plug-ins. And I also had cases where projects broke down with plugins. Everything updated to 2.1. I changed computers, operating systems, cables. I did everything. I reinstalled, etc., etc.
I wrote to the site and described my problem a few days ago but I am still waiting for a response.
