Non opened projects on SD effect ram?

I filled my internal memory with projects, so I got an SD card (which is not formatted) I've only used stand-alone. Anyway, I now save everything on it and have deleted all projects in the internal memory. I'm wondering why when I turn my machine on, go to an empty project and check the RAM it's still at 0 bytes free out of 14.5gb. Are my projects on my SD card effecting my RAM without even being open?

There is only 2gb of ram on the Live and X. A good chunk of that is used to run the operating system. Are you misreading the info graph or is something else going on?

I click on drives and it says 0bytes out of 14.5gigs so that's the ram too, right?

No, RAM is different than storage space. If you're going to delete stuff from the internal storage space (14.5gb) be careful not to wipe the whole drive.

And to avoid a future catastrophy: Memory cards/usb-thumb drives are NOT the way to archive anything. Backup your digital content at least in 3 different drives and/or into cloud.

Mines also says ( Internal 0 bytes free of 14.5 GB) although I have moved all my beats to my SSD card and it is now empty, it wont let me save my beats on it. It just keep saying (Error saving MOC Project) please Help

If you deleted the projects from the internal drive, you still need to go back and delete the project file folders. Click the folder button (usually crossed out) to reveal them.
